"Inspired by Nigerian singer @temsbaby . “ I really love the energy of her music and the power of her voice. The covering of her eyes and mouth wasn’t intentional at the time, I just wanted to add some mystery to it. However, after reflecting a long time on it, there is actually a lot of deep symbolism to take away from the details. Her posture seems very royal and you definitely sense her confidence. Even with her eyes covered, she’s aware of her surroundings and even though her mouth is sealed, you can hear her voice. The colors are vibrant like most of my work and the rough lines add lots of energy & movement around her hair and clothing.“
